| devil in the belfry Being from the Maxmillion Knights - Mathias is an honorable and noble man with an extremely strong sense of justice whom assists his master Lady Isabel in their journey across the world to vanquish all evildoers. He tends to be pretty calm in most situations, however, be cautious when making a statement towards Lady Isabel - any sort of flirting or insulting would end up with your corpse being disposed of into the nearest creek - with swift and final retribution, of course! Although Mathias tends to speak his mind, he would never question Isabel. He will do anything in his power to help those in need of help, so long as they are not evil themselves. Long ago Mathias' father served under Lady Isabel's father, acting as the assistant. Just like his father, he too has become Lady Isabel's assistant - however, not because he wanted to follow his fathers footsteps, but more because he wanted to personally protect and support her aspirations. He does not look at it as 'serving' but rather fulfilling his desires, whether Isabel is male or female. You will almost rarely ever see Mathias alone. Although he holds no romance with Lady Isabel, he serves her faithfully and will carry out swift and final retribution to anyone who dares insult or flirt with her, as well as disposing their loathsome corpse into a creek. Mathias soon became involved in the Falena war when he heard that the foul Prince was rebelling against his own little sister. Euram Borows offered to set a meeting up for them, where Isabel and Mathias could defeat the Prince and bring justice to the Barows - however, Isabel managed to ask around and find out the real truth. Euram manages to escape, and while Mathias wanted to follow, Isabel held him back and asked the Prince if she could join his cause in the fight against the Godwins. Soon after the war ended, Mathias followed Isabel to armes, where they both fought the champions of evil and assisted King Jalat and Shula. Mathias will always remain loyal to Isabel, no matter what, no matter where, no matter when. Chiei Star (Courage) Those born under the Chiei Star are blessed with bravery and courage, as well as a sense of devotion. Often highly motivated to protect causes of justice as well as their friends and families, these stars take to the battleground occasionally, but also, due to their often-protective natures, may choose to become squires or assistants, serving another knight in their pursuit of justice. Many born under this Star have a strong connection to the Chii Star, often as partners or fellow knights, but their connection is not necessarily one of their workplace; those born under the Chii Star are often found even as spouses to those born under this Star. |
